Comments:
Little has as yet been reported on the importance of the different
bands. Only the 30 kD band has been described.
Remaining titers, especially IgG, can persist a long time, although
p30 is then rarely found.
This test kit has not been approved according to AMG.
|
|
Interpretation:
IgM P30 positive suggests a fresh
infection.
In some cases IgM titres can persist.
IgA
P30 positive in cases of an acute infection.
IgG
P30 and one further band marked = Toxoplasma positive
P30 marked only = Toxoplasma possibly positive
